Dr. rer. nat. Meyer studied physics at the University of Kaiserslautern and completed his doctorate in molecular physics at the Free University of Berlin. After working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Physics at the University of Texas at Austin, he spent two years in the development department of an electronics company in the fields of communications engineering and digital image processing. He has been working in the field of intellectual property since 1992 and was admitted as a German Patent Attorney in 1993 and as a European Patent Attorney in 1995.
